{TUTORIAL} Adding Zipper Pocket

The last two days was euphoria for me. It's the first time I got published in an online media and that too on Ecwid Blog! I was contacted by them by email early this month and was so excited about it. You can read my Behind the Scene Story in Ecwid Blog. I hope I can inspire more mothers who decided to left 9 to 5 job and pursue her dreams.

Now let's get down to the fun stuff. I got email from Patti, asking about how to add zipper pocket on the Phone Pouch. Thank you so much Patti!! Adding zipper pouch is very easy. If you already got the pattern  here is what you have to do. (if you haven't,  you can get it at the end of this post)

After you cut all your Exterior, Lining and Interfacing pieces as per pattern instructions, cut 2 extra lining pieces of Main Panel.

1. Fuse the interfacing on to the wrong side of the back exterior piece. Mark 1.5" down on one of the short end and cut.

Do the same with one of the lining piece.

2. Put the lining and exterior pieces…

No time for craft

*sigh*..I miss my sewing machine...This holiday seasons really make me busy, first coz my maid has gone home for x-mas and will be back on the 30th (hopefully) since we'll have small new year party...well mainly for our house-staff alias PBT..he he...They've been bugging us with this idea, so this year we will concede and will have a lil party. My BIL (bro in law) already made the garden lit up with lights. My sons got very excited..mainly becuz they wait to switch on the light in the evening hehe...So this few days I will just run around after my little BRATS...since raihan is very OUTDOOR little person, so half the time he was outside..picking up fallen fruits, digging my MIL flower beds and spoil them, cycling around and playing toy golf which in the end always end up fighting with Rizqi over the golf sticks...*ouch*....

My mind is buzzing with ideas and I already bought few fabrics. Just can't help my self yaaa....whenever I see nice beautiful unusual fabric I just hav…

Tartan Vest

I made another set of trousers-waist coat for my son (I still have to take the photos), and I have little material left, so I made this vest (waist coat for my self). The material is very less actually so the front part I cut diagonally. And it turned least I liked it. And I gave a red pure cotton lining. Hope you like it...I'd love some comments, ideas or critics...thanks for looking

Mini dress

These two short dresses I made last week. The black one is from handloom mekhla (Assamese "sarongs"), it's just simple dress. The tartan one, insprired from old magazines...very simple with one pleated in front part. back part is just simple...I want to add some bottons and belt but haven't got the time to make I'll update the post once I'm done... till next time....keep smiling...:) OOpssiee...sorry for rather blurred fotos...:)

my trinkets

These are my trinkets collection. I made them my self from gem stones, faux pearl, glass beads, semi precious stones (the red one), with sterling silver chain....what do you think???heeyyy....thanks for looking...I'd love some comment..:)till next time
